There are two airports within reach of Hue and flying is the fastest and easiest way to get here by far - Phu Bai airport being the closest to the city. Getting here by rail is the second best option, where air-conditioned compartments are available from both Saigon and Hanoi, while long distance bus travel isn’t particularly recommended but is very cheap.
