All visitors to Koh Samet can take a bus to Ban Pae/Rayong. Buses leave from Ekamai Eastern Bus Station in Bangkok hourly every day. There are many types of buses: normal buses (slow), air-conditioned buses and VIP buses. Then you can take ferries from Ban Pae, Rayong to Koh Samet. Buses also arrive regularly directly from Pattaya bus station.
