Klein Karoo Nationale Kunstefees, both well-known artists and new faces on the scene are the focus of this festival of dance and theatre held in Oudtshoorn. Originally set up as an alternative to the National Arts Festival by an Afrikaans group, it now boasts 200 or more performances on three stages.
