Currency can be exchanged at border crossings, banks, currency exchange offices and hotels; a number of exchange offices are open 24 hours. Often, hotel rates and prices of goods in the larger stores will be listed in euros. American Express, Diners Club, MasterCard and Visa credit cards are widely accepted – and cash can be obtained with a Visa card at many banks.
