The most convenient way to reach Royal Chitwan National Park is to fly into Bharatpur Airport from Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan International Airport. Bharatpur Airport is the main gateway to the park and offers convenient local transport links to the park’s entrance. From Tadi Bazar, the park’s entrance at Sauraha is a six kilometre walk or bullock-cart ride. Alternatively, visitors can arrive by bus via the Mahendra Rajmarg Highway which links with Hetauda.
