The Scottish Traditional Event is usually held at Karawaci Lippoland, 35 miles north of Jakarta, with competitions including the heavy hammer throwing event, Scottish dances, traditional Scottish music on the bagpipes, parades and a firework display. You don’t have to be Scottish to join in the fun and games but be prepared to don a kilt.
