Good Friday/Easter Saturday, the two most significant days in the lead up to Easter Sunday are celebrated with traditional religious rites. The Friday sees the Procession of the Epitaph while on the Saturday, the ceremony of the resurrection is held at churches before locals head home to enjoy the traditional meal of dyed red Easter eggs and Magaritsa soup.
